Libor has been playing music since he was five years old and was playing drums professionally by age 13. He played with local rock bands and in musicals with a large number of theaters throughout the Czech Republic.
He studied at the Jezek Conservatory in Praque, until in 1998 he received a scholarship to the Berklee College of Music with percussion greats Jon Hazilla, Rod Morgenstein, Dave DiCenso, Skip Hadden and others.
Out of his love for teaching, Libor opened Axiom Music School in 2006.AXIOM was intended to become the best music studio for drum set and percussion players. But after only one year in business and due to high demand, started offering lessons on acoustic and bass guitar, piano, drum set and other percussion.
In 2011 he was asked by Drum! Magazine to produce a series of advanced video lessons on drum independence.
Libor is available to record professional drum tracks, for teaching clinics, and a limited number of performance gigs.
Libor is very passionate about teaching. He opened his own music school, Axiom Music School, in 2006 and has a large number of private students from beginner to advanced and of all ages.
He is an exacting, patient, and fun teacher who can do things on a drum set most advanced practitioners are struggling with.
In the summer of 2011, Libor was chosen by Drum! Magazine to produce a series of lessons on drum set independence. His videos have received widespread acclaim. They can be viewed on the Drum! website and on Youtube.
